Heart Healthy Foods

Heart healthy foods are the most important aspect to get right for recovery and prevention purposes with heart disease - in my opinion.

Obviously, I think that exercise and applying the mind to healing are also important.

When I first found out I had heart problems I looked everywhere for the right diet to pursue - again, as I thought I already was.

Some of the official diets I stayed away from - videos showing how to shop ending up with a trolley full of processed foods and animal products.

It didn't seem right to me.

Then I came across Dr. Dean Ornish and his Reversal Diet.

I am a great fan.

Dr. Ornish is a practicing cardiologist and can back his claims up with thousands of angiograms over many years - my kind of proof.

Make sure you get the latest edition if you buy off ebay.

He has a long list of vegetables he recommends for either maintaining heart health or reversing heart disease.
