Mild Heart Attack Symptoms

Mild heart attack symptoms are easily missed or mistaken for something else. Anyone within a heart disease risk category, or who knows someone who is, should become familiar with these.

In my own situation, I was able to use some of my own mental strategies to control my symptoms when they presented. Phew!

It is too common an occurrence for someone suffering from a heart attack to leave it too late to call for an ambulance.

The ways these symptoms can manifest can vary from person to person and even from male to female.

Overall, though you can consider the following list to be fairly indicative:

  1. The chest can feel restricted as if bound

  2. Pain in the chest - center or to the left

  3. Usually tightness in the chest

  4. There maybe pain around the neck, jaw or upper back

  5. Discomfort in the left hand

  6. Often breathing is labored or a struggle

  7. There could be a burning sensation in the chest

  8. Sweating - a cold sweat.

  9. Nausea

  10. Chocking sensation in the throat.

  11. Heaviness in the upper abdomen.

  12. Weakness and easy fatigues.

As you can see, it is easy to mistake these for almost anything.

Remember this though, no-one cares if you call in a false alarm with this one. In fact everyone involved is happy that it is.

Don't take chances. You might just save a life, and that life might just be your own.
